Leisure, nature & culture

A wider experience
of Accra.

The Afrofari vision brings together conservation, hospitality, learning, and family recreation at Achimota EcoPark.

The development vision includes accommodation, forest gardens, a museum and library, and spaces for events. The wider programme includes water and themed parks.

The visuals show proposed facilities. They introduce the development vision rather than an operating resort.

Wildlife & conservation

The zoo plan centres on West African endemic and threatened species, improved habitats, a primate sanctuary, learning facilities and veterinary care. Rehabilitation and release are proposed in cooperation with the Ghana Wildlife Division. Accreditation is a goal, not a current status.

Water Park

The masterplan places a 5–8 acre water park at the visitor-zone edge, away from the core conservation area. It proposes four to six slides, an 800–1,000 m² wave pool, a 300 m lazy river, adventure and splash zones, and closed-loop water systems.

Themed Park

The proposed entertainment anchor combines rides, children’s attractions, interactive zones, live performances and seasonal events shaped by African stories. Its footprint is intended to complement the EcoPark’s conservation areas.

The zoo plan

Conservation with room to learn.

A designed urban wildlife sanctuary focused on animal welfare, education and species preservation.

The group presentation records an existing zoo project at Achimota Park as complete. Its expanded sanctuary plan calls for a West African primate focus, space for species already found in the reserve, a full-time veterinary team, an animal welfare officer and independent annual welfare audits. WAZA standards are a design ambition; no accreditation is claimed here.

Future development phase

Anthill Conference Dome

A landmark venue planned around a premium conference and event hall, luxury residential suites and a sustainable architectural design.

Presented as a future pipeline project, Anthill would add a year-round meetings and hospitality destination to the group’s leisure portfolio. Its concept image shows a sculptural roofline and landscaped setting; delivery details remain in planning.
